Accomplishments

  • Designed and implemented a nationwide network-based IVR service for a major telecommunications carrier, including high availability systems architecture, internal client/server messaging, and sophisticated SNA and TCP/IP data communication interfaces to support thousands of ports.

  • Designed and deployed over 100 applications for a major telecommunications carrier. Many of these application required interfacing to customer legacy systems using a variety of protocols and connectivity methods.

  • Developed and deployed a sales automation tool for the sales force of a large telecommunications company. This tool supports the sales and configuration of complex multimedia services that include Interactive Voice Response, Fax Recognition, and Internet Hosting. Major features include wizard data entry paradigm, workflow integration, spreadsheet pricing, and expert systems.

  • Designed network IVR to customer premise CTI screen-pop architecture. Utilized ISDN information fields to pass customer data to premise CTI systems.

  • Designed and Implemented TCP/IP and SNA Servers for Transaction Processing support for voice response and web servers. Allowed end-users to communicate with legacy systems and servers to perform transactions such as account inquiry, electronic bill payment, and flight information inquiry.

  • Implemented a 60 branch Intranet pilot for a major bank in Canada to support teller status, teller inquiry, and customer service inquiry functions.

  • Designed and implemented Tivoli Management Environment (TME) to monitor ISP nodes to support nationwide rollout of residential internet.

  • Implemented a complete redesign and upgrade to a service bureau call center for CTI, PBX, ACD, Voice Response, and unified messaging capabilities.
